I need more practice

So, last week, I felt an inner whisper that video blogging is something I should pursue. I watched a tutorial on '5 Ways to Make Sure Your Video Doesn't Suck' (I think I need to watch it again), more tutorials on how to add titles, fade ins and outs, etc. - and a final tutorial on how to use YouTube as your server and upload videos for your blog site.

Here is my very first effort. What did I learn?

I need to stand further from the camera. When did I get so bloated?!?!?

I need to apply full makeup when shooting future episodes.

I need to get over feeling like an idiot, talking to a camera, worrying that the neighbours are listening. This should allow me to speak louder and actually be heard.

I need to hang on to my courage - and learn to like the way I look and sound on film.

I enjoy the whole editing part - perhaps I'm meant to edit other people's video blogs?

Dear Fearing the Worst,

The unknown can be very frightening - especially when someone you love dearly is involved. I asked the The Angels to talk to you about your loved one, and so the reading below may be in part for you, and in part for her. And I suspect you will know the difference upon connection to the words. Many, many blessings to you both ...

You are either blocking, or unaware of, the inner wisdom of a Guide that can help at this time. Someone, or your own inner self, is seeking to assist you with the ability to see the Divine in every aspect of life ... let this wisdom in ~ the insight provided can help with the acceptance of what is.

Visualization will help at this time. Your clairvoyance, your dreams, and the pictures in your mind's eye are becoming more clear and powerful. You are being asked to trust and develop your visual skills, and to use them in conscious manifestation.

Conscious visualization is a powerful tool of manifestation. You are being guided to sit quietly on a daily basis and to visualize yourself living a healthy, happy, abundant and meaningful life. Visualize only what you desire, and avoid picturing that which you do not desire.

You have powerful visual skills, even if you're unaware of them. Affirm daily, "I am a highly visual person". Any blocks that you have about clairvoyance will begin to lift. Know that it is safe for you to see the future, the spirit world, and the truth about your life. By releasing fears about 'seeing', your visualization powers will be greatly manifested.

Archangel Michael is with you, giving you the courage to make life changes that will help you work on your Divine life purpose. He has come to you because you asked God for safety and protection and because you asked about your life purpose. Since you are a lightworker, he is overseeing the fruition of your Divine life purpose.

You have been a lightworker for a long time and you have felt different from others, isolated at times. Be assured that you have never been alone, and that you never will be alone.

When you feel pushed to make a change, that may be Archangel Michael's influence, encouraging you to make your life's purpose a high priority. He can rearrange your schedule and support you in other ways to make your path smooth and harmonious. Simply ask him, and it is done. He will also help you feel safe and comfortable during your life's changes.

The Angels would also like you to know that schooling, study and education help your life's purpose and personal growth at this time. They will help you and guide you with the process. They strongly recommend that you continue with your education because the additional information and experience will accelerate the fruition of your life's purpose.

You may worry about having the means to go forward with this schooling, but the Angels assure you that everything will be provided to you along the way. This educational process brings you great rewards. It enriches your understanding of your spiritual power, and accelerates your memory and motivation toward your life's purpose. You will be guided to teachers, schools, boods, funds, schedules and all of the resources that are plentifully available to you now.

Please know, there is no need to worry, as everything is working out beautifully. Even though appearances may seem chaotic, you are assured that a higher plan is in action. This all-loving power is carrying and supporting you completely.

Relax into the arms of Divine Love; and breathe away all cares, concerns and worries. Put your focus into enjoying and appreciating each blessing. Your gratitude helps you attract even more blessings into your life.  Give your cares and worries to Heaven. Pray, meditate, and engage in peace enhancing activities such as yoga, sea-salt baths, massage, naps, music, playfulness and the like.

The Angels ask you to be very gentle with yourself at this time. Surround yourself with gentle people, situations and environments. Archangel Sandalphon wishes to help you feel peaceful and centred, and he strongly advises that you begin by listening to gentle music. Play it wherever you go. Talk quietly and engage in slow, rhythmic movements such as swaying ot music or a gentle yoga session.

Don't engage in battles at this time. Instead, retreat from conflict while you revive your spirit and become even stronger. Delay decision-making at this time. You'll know exactly what to do when you emerge from your gentle retreat.

A second card reinforces the 'don't make a decision at this time' message. Conditions aren't favourable for you to do so right now. Wait, or look into othr options; and ask the Angels to help, guide and comfort you.

There's a reason you asked for Heaven's opinion about this issue. In your heart, you knew that something was amiss. The Angels are here to help yo trust this wisdom within your heart. This situation, as it currently stands, won't bring you the joy that you seek.

There are other options available to you. One is to wait. This will certainly improve your outlook, either because you will learn more information, or because something better will come along.

The second option is to go ahead with the current situation. You certainly have the free will to do so. Be assured that the Angels will stay with you whether you heed their caution or not. If you fall into a situation where you need rescue, they will be there with unconditional love. Each time that you listen - and also each time you ignore - you grow, and you learn.

And finally, you are confused and indecisive because you do not have enough information. Do research or seek expert advice before making a decision. You have felt like you are chasing your tail, looking at this option, then that option. This indecisiveness is exhausting you. The reason why you're confused is that you do not have enough information to make an informed decision. Your choices appear too similar right now, but once you conduct additional research, your decision will become more clear.

Begin by asking God and the Angels to enter your dreams and give you more information. Then ask your feelings to give you guidance. This means imagining what it would feel like to make this decision. Then imagine what it would feel like to make the other choice.

Go deep within and notice how your body reacts as you try on the different options. If our gut or jaw tightens, this is a sign that something isn't right. If your heart flutters with warmth, this is a sign that you are on the right path.

Before making your final decision, seek the counsel of wise friends and teachers whose experience and intuition can guide you.

Dear Light in the Horizon,

Sometimes we live day to day, forgetting that we're loved, we're valued, and we're capable beyond measure. At times like this, it's easy to forget that we have wings to fly ~ please know that you're supported at all times, and all you need to remember - is to ask for help.

Accept Heaven's Help: You've prayed for help, so get out of the way and let Heaven help you. You've asked "what should I do next?" The Angels ask you to trust that your prayers have been heard and answered. Simply rest and retreat for now. After all, you prayed for Divine intervention, so step aside and let Heaven intervene, as this is the help you prayed for.  You can assist the process initiated by your prayers through quiet contemplation. Ask Heaven to give you very clear, easily understandable guidance, letting you know if you need to take any action. In the meantime, enjoy knowing your Angels and Guides surround you and your situation with loving care.

Breaking Free: You are feeling trapped in some life area and you have taken the first step in freeing yourself from any unnatural restrictions. The Angels want you to know that when we are responsible for ourselves, we're more responsible for others. When we are happy, our family, friends, children and spouse enjoy being around us and are inspired by our strength and confidence. Pray for help in releasing your fears and in assisting you in breaking free. God's plan is that you be resonsible, while simultaneously feeling as free as the birds and Angels.

Your Life Purpose: You have a bond with children. In particular, you can help children who are sensitive. Your life purpose involves helping and teaching children. You're here to help these hcildren retain and amplify their psychic and spiritual gifts. Educate adults about natural and chemical-free ways to feed and raise these special children - referred to as Crystal Children and Indigo Children. The very young Crystal Children and the slightly older Indigo Children are important to the future of this planet. You can help ensure their bright future, and the Angels will help you. Ask for their guidance.

Have Patience: You are just getting started, so have patience with yourself and the process, and do not give up. In many ways, you are like a flower bud who is ripe and ready to open and grow. Don't try to rush this process, as it's part of your beautiful path. Enjoy learning new knowledge and skills. Take your time to gather new ideas. Nurture your body with plenty of fresh air, sunshine, water and healthy food. Soon enough, you'll get the unmistakable signal that it's time to put your learning into action. For now, slow down, have patience, keep the faith.

Dear Resilient, Spiritual Warrior,

You are a Nature Child – and this essence is strong within you.  It is this part of your Self that pushes you to be outdoors and you feel inspired by deep, intimate bonding with natural forces.  You feel a particular affinity for friendships with animals.  And though endowed with tender, emotional qualities – you also have an inner toughness and ability to survive.  In this respect - you represent the true resilience of Nature herself.  Allow the healing and restorative powers of Nature to help you feel more connected when you’re feeling discord or fragmentation within. There’s beautiful and balanced energy in Nature and it speaks to you when you allow yourself to feel it.

The Angels are urging you to open your arms and receive the gifts they bring you from your Creator.  Heaven is expansive and ever-increasing – and one of the ways it expands is through the giving and sending of love continuously.  This love is sent to you in many forms, and your only task is to be willing to receive it.  Right now, the answers to your prayers await your willing receptivity.  Open your arms to these gifts as the Angels will you to be happy, healthy, and secure – and they ask that you also release any fears you may have of receiving to them.

Do you have a life pattern of delighting in the arts, or perhaps in other areas of endeavor – without going very deep or fully committing?  Might you sometimes fit the title ‘jack of all trades, master of none’?  There is nothing wrong with choosing to live in this way ~ unless you’re ignoring or repressing an inner call to rise above the level of amateur and go deeper with your talent or commitment. 

If this is speaking to something within you, note a place (or places) in your life where your pursuits may be more superficial than desire-driven and reflect on whether or not you may have actually lost the love or passion that drew you to the pursuit in the first place.  Letting go of what no longer serves you creates an opening for a true passion to be pursued.  As well, taking an existing pursuit and going deeper into it with renewed focus and commitment is an option too.  Which choose you – and to be clear with your Self why you choose what you choose?

The worst is now behind you and you are surmounting previous challenges.  The challenges you’ve faced have made you stronger and have taught you new lessons.  Instead of becoming bitter, you’ve opened your heart with compassion toward people in similar situations.  You’ve let got of any blame or feelings of victimhood.  This is why you’re now overcoming your previous challenges.  Your positive outlook is attracting a loving solution and new situations at a higher level of spiritual understanding.  Stay positive, you’re doing great!

You’re going through a time of rapid spiritual growth.  Enjoy the process.  During this time, you may feel a mixture of many feelings: confusion, excitement, fear and wonder.  You love your renewed connection with the Divine and you may wish you could read, study, learn or meditate on a full-time basis.  Simultaneously though, you may worry about the implications that your spiritual studies will have on the rest of your life.  What impact will your new spiritual pursuits have on your job or relationships?  These worries create a fear that may erode the enjoyment your spiritual studies bring you.

Surrender your fears to God – trust that you are supported, loved and guided each moment.  Don’t worry about how your future will blend with your spiritual growth.  Trust that the same Power that brought you to your spiritual path will also take care of everything else for you. 

Please know that your independence is a foundation for your strength and success.  Like the cat, you’re fiercely independent, yet you also need affection and playful companions.  Now is the time to balance your social interactions with solitude.  While you may ask others for their opinions, ultimately you must make your own decisions.  Your freedom and independence are top priorities, so ensure that these characteristics within your Self are nurtured and celebrated.

And finally, stop worrying – everything is going to be fine.  This is a kind Universe, and everyone within it is working in your favour.  There are not tests, blocks or obstacles in your way – except your own projections of fear into your future.  Take a moment and quiet your mind, quiet it from worries and fears.  Feel the Angels brush your brow with a new energy of faith, hope and optimism.  These energies fuel your exciting present time as well as all future moments.

Why would you wish darkness upon yourself when light shines all around you?  Step into this brightness by lightening your thoughts and feelings.  You must stop worrying as this anxiety squelches the goodness that seeks to find you.  Clear your heart of fear and replace those energies with ones that will serve you, and those you love, instead.  Your thoughts create your experience – focus your thoughts on your bright today and tomorrow and you’ll find that it will be so.

Dear Swirling Angst,

Waves of Prosperity are on their way to you right now.  Observe any ideas that enter your mind as they may be seeds of a profitable new venture.  Notice any out-of-the-blue phone calls or 'chance meetings' with people who could help you.  You're entering a success streak and this is an excellent time to begin new ventures (following your inner guidance and doing appropriate research).  You'll see that doors open easily for you and that you're filled with extra confidence and enthusiasm.  Know that there's an ocean of abundance with no danger that it will dry up.

Don't Be Afraid to Open the Treasure Chest: Your prayers for financial support have been heard and answered and assistance is on its way for you now.  It's coming in wonderfully unexpected ways. Remain in a state of gratitude that money is already here even if there's no visible evidence of it yet.  Your faith is the energy that will draw riches to you without delay.  This support may show up as money, or a new opportunity, brilliant ideas or gifts from others.  Bless and honour them no matter how they show up as your gratitude ensures continual overflowing abundance in your life.

You're Being Helped - notice signs that 'land is near' - that your manifestations are being realized.  Your prayers have been answered. Stay centred in your faith and gratitude in order to open the door to your desires.

Problem Resolved - An issue that's been bothering you is being healed behind the scenes. The solution is creative, ingenious, and is a joyous surprise to you.  You're on the cusp of experiencing welcome relief from a problem that's been bothering you.  You have reason to smile as Heaven is working on a solution that is so creative that you'll chuckle with delight at God's sense of humour.  Basically, it's a win-win for everyone. 

You'll soon be receiving good news, such as the healing of a strained relationship, an unexpected financial resource, a resolved health issue, a happy addition to your home, or a new career opportunity.  Please don't strain to figure out 'how' this solution will be achieved, or in what form it will manifest. Instead, let yourself enjoy feelings of excitement and gratitude as you allow Heaven to help you.

Fairness - This situation will be handled in a fair and just manner.  An alternative definition of fairness is when all parties involved surrender their personal agendas in favour of the greater good for the entirety of the group.  This requires trust in the wisdom of the whole.  When it comes to matters of disputes, the attacks are based on fears that you may not receive your share.  Yet attacks amplify the hurt and the pain that caused the dispute in the first place.  Why not surrender your attachment to a specific outcome, and instead - direct your holy will toward the resolution of the argument? Hold a firm vision of a peaceful outcome and let the pieces fall into place in a harmonious manner.  Know you will be treated fairly, keep everyone's needs in mind during negotiations -- and release guilt and shame, as these emotions can attract a punishing attack.

Happily Ever After - this movie in which you are presently the star has a happy ending - a happy outcome is assured.  Release any anxiety and feel secure that everything is resolved in the end.  Situations that appear sticky are miraculously resolved.  Misunderstandings are forgiven, mistakes are forgotten.  Stop worrying about the future as your fears could be self-fulfilling in a negative way.  You could literally sabotage Heaven's happy plan for you if your worries are excessive.  Spend time outside in nature and rejoice in the perfection of Creation.  Everything is in Divine and perfect order right now and your joy will renew your faith - ensuring the happy outcome that is in store for you.

Mother Healing - Heaven is asking you to release any remaining 'mother issues' and give the entire situation to Heaven knowing that everything is in the hands of the Infinite Spirit.  The situation may heal in unexpected ways.  Be unconcerned with how it heals and be vigilant in releasing any lower energies connected to your mother that could interfere with your life's mission. 

By releasing any mother issues to Heaven, your heart opens further to accepting joy and blessings into your life.  Your mother benefits when you're happy, whether or not she's consciously aware of it.  Be willing to forgive and release old issues relating to yourself, your mother, mother figures, or anyone connected to your mother.  By cleaning your inner house, you invite new love, opportunities, abundance and healing energy to enter your life.

Dear Awakening Essence,

As you go about this process of getting to know your Self a little bit better, harness your inner Athlete – that part of you that knows that professional skill is less important than willpower and strength of spirit.  Learning about, and learning how to practice, Spiritual awareness and living is like exercising a muscle that may not have been used very often – it takes time, and you grow in competence, ability and strength the more you practice.  Be patient with your Self – and dedicate your energies to connecting with and growing your inner gifts.

Right now, your heart needs an outlet to express powerful emotions ~ you are being urged to engage in an artistic or creative endeavour as a means of expressing your heart’s joyful energy.  Anything artistic or creative will make your heart sing with joy, and will allow you to get in touch with your true inner feelings and Divine guidance.  Painting, flower arranging, photography, sand or snow sculpting, writing or composing songs are all wonderful examples of heart lifting connectors.  Your creative expression doesn’t need to be skillful or perfect.  In fact, the most therapeutic types of creative activities allow you to ‘paint outside the lines’.  In other words, don’t worry whether your creative project is perfect or marketable.  Let go of all goals and judgements and create with child-like exuberance!

We all have within us a little, wounded child – the degree to which it sometimes dictates our thoughts and behaviours depends largely on the memories we hold of abuse, neglect, misunderstanding or other traumas endured during childhood.  This wounded child serves a positive purpose too, in time.  It can awaken a deep sense of compassion and desire to find a way to help other ‘wounded children’ ~ and it often opens the learning path of forgiveness, if anger, blame or resentment are nestled somewhere inside of you.  If this resonates with you at all, simply sit with this knowledge – and if forgiveness might lift a weight from your heart … then ask the Angels to help you see someone or a certain situation in a new way, thus helping you reach a place where you can release the pain you carry and move forward – free of your past.

A change of venue is coming your way.  You could be moving to a new residence or you might be changing the location of your employment.  There is a sense that your energy is drawing you to a new location.  Perhaps you’ve been thinking about moving to a new home and if so, then this is the time to consider that change.  Write a list of the features you desire in your new home and ask the Angels to help you find and acquire your new residence.  If it is your change of employment that is changing – you could be on the cusp of finding a new job.  Or, your current employer may transfer you to a new location, or promote you to a different office.  Regardless of the type of new location, trust that this is a change for the better that will bring great improvements to your life.

This situation that is upsetting you right now – the Angels suggest that it involves your past-life memories.  “Your roots upon this planet are strong and deep, and some of the roots have anchored you in past memories from faraway times.  These roots have anchored you so deeply, in fact, that you’re paralyzed when it comes to moving forward.  I’ve called your attention to this condition so that you may unearth and uproot past memories.  Sometimes you bury those memories to shield yourself from psychic pain or embarrassment, so you won’t remember those awkward moments when life tested you to the maximum.  Reveal those lessons to yourself now, strong sorceress, and move forward with the confidence that you have sage wisdom behind you.”

If you assign meaning to this possibility, there are a few things you can do.  You could get a past-life regression to gain insights and answers.  If you’re open to this, simply put that thought out to the Universe – “I am open to getting a past-life regression, please send someone who can help me into my awareness.”  In a relatively short period of time, you’ll either see someone who does this on tv, or you’ll find yourself reading about just this thing … or you’ll meet someone who happens to mention they do this or have just had it done.  In short, allow the Universe to deliver to you what you need if you’re open and willing to receive it. 

And if fears from a past life are rising up and clouding you right now – strengthening your Visualization abilities may bring you the insights you need, when you’re ready.  There is the possibility that you are denying certain aspects of your Self because it was not safe to be yourself in another time – or perhaps, you suffered as a result of opening your true self to others.  Sometimes just accepting that as a possibility, and knowing that here, today, it is safe for you to be who you are is enough to move past this.

Do not fear what you are going through right now.  At some point, we all go through our own version of a Heroine’s journey.  We confront increasingly difficult obstacles to awaken an inner spiritual power and achieve an ultimate heroic vision that serves all in the end.  We conquer survival fears that might compromise our journey of empowerment, and with our courage intact ~ we overcome all odds and find peace, happiness and gratitude in abundance.  It is your Divine right to be happy and to love, to give love and to be loved each and every day.  Remember this as you travel your path – and know, too, that you are not alone.  Many are working journeys of their own – and the people you’ll need along the way will be there when you’re ready to see and trust them.

The Angels are asking you to listen to, and follow, your true feelings.  Do not betray yourself or rationalize that it’s acceptable to deny your inner voice of truth.  You have an inner counselor who is very wise.  This source of wisdom speaks to you in both physical and emotional ways.  Perhaps you have gut feelings that are speaking loudly to you, or physical reactions to situations – like a tightened jaw or nervous stomach.  Your heart may be drawing you toward a particular geographical location – a specific career or a certain type of relationship.  You may feel compelled to leave a particular situation that is unacceptable.  It is so important to heed your own feelings.  Please don’t discount what you know to be true in your heart.  Follow your emotions, as they are your inner compass that will steer you home and keep you warm, safe, supported and joyous.  If you’re unclear about which emotions you’re experiencing, write down your thoughts and feelings in a journal to gain clarity and understanding.  And affirmation for you: I listen to, honour and follow my true feelings, knowing that they are answers to my prayers.

Notice how the moon affects your energy and manifestations and capitalize upon the cycles.  The full moon is a perfect time to release anything you’re done with – the new moon is the time to focus on manifesting desires and intentions, and the evening before the full moon is an optimal time for healing and for recharging healing instruments such as crystals and oils.  Spend time looking at the moon and notice how you feel in relationship to its cycles.  As you discover the moon’s connection with your vitality and moods, you’ll be more in touch with its Divine magic.

Reflect on this – the old must be released so that the new can enter.  The heart knows that the Universe is actually well-designed and organized … and not chaotic, as it may sometimes appear.  The dance of the Universe is a happy one, with energy swirling and twirling in a never-ending celebration of life itself.  Join this dance – and enjoy the remarkable journey of the weavings of the story that is your life.  Embrace your deepest emotions as a signal that you are alive – and that you’re in touch with your true, human essence.  Life begins outside of your comfort zone ~ and light appears when you join the dance.

You have been indoors too long – go out and get some fresh air.  A daily venture outside will not only revive your spirit and soul, it will give you hope and faith in this planet’s very existence and future.  You’ll see all of the goodness that’s on display in nature: the flowers in full bloom, the leaves that are preparing to change colour, the birds chirping their tunes and even the wind gently blowing over and around you.  Spend time outside and recognize the need for balance in your life … for rest, play and work.

Is it possible that you have symbolically served as a bully to your true inner self?  Do you bully your spirit into backing down from challenges or opportunities with uncertain outcomes?  Evaluate to what extent you are standing in your own way – and trust that the essence of who you are is needed here on this planet and that it is safe, and important, to connect to your uniqueness and engage with your life accordingly.

You are beginning to recover your natural identity, including your old sense of humour, interests, passions and desires.  Trust that any confusion or changes you’re currently experiencing are part of your healthful evolution.  As if a cloud has lifted from your mind and heart -  you’re beginning to see life from the perspective of your old self. 

You just went through a period where you gave up who you are to please another person.  You buried your interests, ignored your friends, and tried to fit in to another person’s lifestyle.  Now, your old self is emerging.  You’re back!  As you recover your authentic self, your life and your personality are going through big changes.  Hold tight, and allow these changes to occur.  The Angels ask you to trust that the parts of your life and personality that are falling away are inauthentic and false.  Know that you’re building a solid foundation of truth, and that everything is working out perfectly right now.

Dear Gentle Soul,

Fear not - there is a huge new opportunity being presented to you  and it is completely safe for you to trust and enter into this new realm.

A momentous opportunity is on its way, or perhaps has already been presented, to you. It could be in the form of someone making a business proposal to you, a new idea that enters your mind, or an investment opportunity.

It could even be in the form of what you're now perceiving to be a loss, but is in fact a situation in which you are about to gain something even more suitable.

Even though you may feel intimidated or unqualified to move to the next level, be assured that heaven is reaching its hand through the window, guiding and protecting you as you soar upward.

If you need help trusting the validity of the new opportunity, ask the Angels for their guidance. You can do this out loud or quietly in your mind with your thoughts. You will soon believe in the trustworthiness of this gift, and you will know that you deserve heaven's help.

I'm so glad you joined us at the Girl's Night Out last week.  Thank you for allowing me to read these cards for you.  Many have found the community of women here at PNN to be amongst the most loving and supportive they've found anywhere before in their lives.  I do hope you document your journey as you were considering - and that you will consider allowing the soothing comfort of compassion that will pour your way here at PNN to help heal your heart along the way. The Worst is Now Behind You ~ you are protected from all types of harm.  The worst is now behind you.  Relax and feel safe.  No matter what has happened in your past, your present and future are now safely protected by angels.  They are helping you heal from past upsets or trauma.  They are helping to heal your heart of worry or fear.  They are here to help you release any self-sabotaging thoughts or behaviour.  They are here, in other words, to help you enjoy a renewed sense of safety and peace of mind.  The angels stand guard around you, your home, your family, your vehicles and your workplace.  You can rest assured that no lower energies can permeate their protective field.  They only allow the energy of love to enter wherever you or your loved ones reside.  All expressions of fear are transmuted back to the field of illusion from whence they came.  God and the angels ask that you relax and enjoy yourself, for your happiness brings a smile to Heaven.

Positive New Energy ~ A happy move to a new home or place of employment is in the works. This movement will usher in positive new energy. Yes, it is time for a move.  The angels are working to keep your spirit and energy high during this move.  Although it may seem as if moving requires a lot of effort, when you work with the angels, it can actually be a time of great joy.  They will help you to find a new location and then they will assist you with the necessary details.  They will also help your other family members adjust to the move.  Just ask.  All they require is your trust.  Trust that God and the angels are capable of finding just the right place for you.  If you decide on one  certain place and it doesn’t work out, it is because they are bringing you something that’s even better.  Expect miracles to occur that allow you to afford this change.  Stay positive, and don’t buy into illusions or scarcity thinking.  They will smooth the way, and they will also help you meet new people who can illuminate your path.

You Are A Victim No More ~ You are done with the pity and sympathy of others.  You are done allowing others to trespass your personal boundaries.  You have learned much over the years and you are a Victim no more.  Use what you’ve learned and experienced to alert you when you're in danger of letting yourself be victimized through either passivity or rash, inappropriate actions.  And then rise up and take back your control and your power.

Be A Student ~ constantly be open to new learning and information as it is an essential part of your overall well-being.  Your life can be viewed as a continual pursuit of intellectual development.  Be wary of ‘using this learning’ as a means to holding yourself back in the advancement of your dreams.  Take your knowledge and put it into action.  And continue developing your independent inner wisdom.

Transformation ~ You are experiencing enormous change right now, which brings great blessings.  As you go through this period of change, it is natural for you to wonder if your future is safe.  The angels assure you that you’re part of nature’s cycles of birth, death, and rebirth.  To bring in your desired newness, you must first allow old parts of your life to fall away.  These changes are to be celebrated, not feared.  Give thanks for this shedding of the old.  Embrace all of the lessons it brought, and then let it go.  Be giddy with excitement at the newness of the gifts that are now being bestowed upon you, and let their magic surprise and delight you.  Don’t be concerned about endings, as they bringing in the new for you.

Dreams Coming True ~ Your heart’s desires are capable of manifesting into reality – but you are inadvertently blocking them with your fear.  The angels ask you to hold fast to your faith and expect positive outcomes.  The life you’ve been dreaming of can become a reality for you.  Your affirmations, prayers, visualizations and other positive practices can bring your dreams to fruition.  Keep this faith.  At the moment, you may be seeing glimmers of your dreams coming true.  These dreams will transition from thought-form to etheric form – and then they’ll solidify into material form.  To make this transition successful and complete, your continued faith and prayers are needed.  Ask God and the angels to help release you of any fears that could cause you to sabotage your success.  Know that you deserve this new abundance and that it will bring much joy to you and those in your life.

Face Your Situation Like An Athlete ~ drive and develop your personal willpower and strength of spirit while supporting your dedication to transcending real or perceived limitations.  Stand within your strong code of ethics and morality and recognizes that skill level is less important than willpower and strength of spirit.

Harness the Powers of a Shape Shifter ~ you have within you the ability to navigate different levels of consciousness.  See the potential in everything … and recognize that you are more than capable of the flexibility or changeability needed right now in your work or family life.  Do not hold yourself back.

Break Free ~ Try different ventures and experiences as a way to grow and learn.  Sometimes we get into ruts and routines because they feel safe and comfortable.  Swim outside of your comfort zone.  It’s time to take risks and explore new ways of thinking, making a living, or being in relationship.  When you make the commitment to explore and experiment, the world responds by giving you wonderful new experiences. Heaven isn’t necessarily asking you to settle into these new avenues, but to instead test the water and venture out.  Sometimes we’ll experiment and learn new things and then, when we return to the comfortable old routines, we’re changed for the better.  This is definitely a time for you to reach out and enjoy new options.  Try something new today.

Fear and worries slow down your manifestation so keep releasing all cares and doubts to Heaven. Nurture your body with plenty of fresh air, sunshine, water and healthful food. Soon enough, you’ll get the unmistakable signal that it’s time to put your learning into action. Spend time among flowers or work with flower essences and oils to support your growth process.

Take Your Time ~ You have asked for Heaven’s guidance and it is given. This situation that you’re presently contemplating isn’t right for you. Some vital information has been concealed, so you will need to dig deeper and ask more questions of those involved. Caution is warranted, trust your gut feelings. Please don’t worry that this situation is the only opportunity available to you. It isn’t. There is something better waiting for you, but first you will have to free yourself. Remember that ‘nature abhors a vacuum’. So, you must create a vacuum, and then the new situation will reveal itself. Clearly it takes courage and faith to leave a situation that you had a vested interest in. You may feel disappointed and betrayed. Endings and Beginnings ~ The old must be released so that the new can enter. Praise your heart for accepting the universal order, which only appears to be chaotic and ever-changing. In actuality, everything is designed down to the smallest detail, to be in perfect operation. The dance of the universe is a happy one, with energy swirling and twirling in a never-ending celebration of life itself. Join this dance dear one, and enjoy the remarkable journey of the weavings of the story of life. Do not fear what appears to be a change or a loss. It’s only the transitioning orbit of energy interplaying with you and your loved ones. Embrace it as evidence that you’re alive! Embrace your deepest emotions as a signal of your true human essence. Your current changes are for the best. Keep your thoughts positive as they’re very powerful. What appears to be a loss is really the beginning of a happy new phase. Let the past go, it’s time to move on.

Serve as a Spiritual Channel ~ Look back over your lifetime commitment to serving others by facilitating their spiritual rituals in some way. You serve as a spiritual channel of Divine energy for others – and you must represent the teachings through your personal example at this time.

Take Risks and Be Daring ~ Don’t play it safe right now. Instead, take bold action in the direction of your true heart’s desire. Success comes not from timidity but from committing yourself fully to realizing your dream. Hold the clear intention of success and it shall come about. Enjoy the excitement of taking risks, of being bold and of being daring. And be sure to celebrate your success with a party or by splurging on a wonderful indulgence!

Pay Attention ~ Notice repetitious signs and your inner guidance, as this can yield valuable information. Heaven is giving you important messages and you’re asked to pay extra attention to them. Notice conversations you overhear, comments made to you by others, and inner feelings and thoughts. Look for common threads among the signs, as they’re forms of guidance to help you manifest your Divine purpose and desires. It’s not your imagination that Heaven is sending you signs and Divine guidance. Anytime you hear or feel something three or more times, especially within a short time period, it’s information worthy of your attention. These signs also give you feedback about your current belief system, since your thoughts attract mirroring experiences. Use these signs to heal beliefs that dishonour you and swim in the direction that your guidance points you.

Follow Your Heart ~ As you honour and follow the guidance of your heart, know that prosperity will come to you. You are fully supported by Heaven and your prayers for financial support have been heard. Be assured that the angels see money as a symbol of the abundant supply that God provides to all of His children. The earthly negativity surrounding money comes from human minds alone. In Heaven, we see money as the energy of exchange. We know that you need material essentials. Like any loving parent, God wants His children to be comfortable, safe and happy. That is one of the reasons why He sends you guardian angels. Your finances have been blocked in the past because of guilt and other negative beliefs and emotions. Call for Divine assistance to help you heal and release much of your negative association with money. Please know that allowing this help empowers you to help more people. The more that you allow Heaven to give you, the more you will be able to give others. In the near future, you will be able to manifest all your needs. But in the meantime, allow the Divine to help you through its Heavenly contributions.

Self-Forgiveness – Let go of old guilt, and remember that you’re God’s perfect child. You have been very hard on yourself lately, using harsh words toward yourself verbally or mentally. While it’s healthy to hold yourself up to high standards, please know that you sometimes border on self-abuse. Everyone makes mistakes, and it’s normal to feel regret occasionally. What’s important though, is how you handle these mistakes. As you focus on your positive attributes, your self-esteem will increase and your stress level will be diminished. Remember that guilt is the opposite of love. Your guilt doesn’t help anyone or anything, but your Divine love helps everyone, everywhere. Affirm: I ask that all effects of my mistakes be undone in all directions of time, and I now release all guilt completely. I love my true self, from top to bottom.

Synchronicity ~ Your prayers and questions are being answered by synchronistic events. Notice them in order to increase their flow. Those 'chance  meetings', information that you just 'happen' to receive and other synchronicities (meaningful coincidences) are really answered prayers. The more you notice these magical events, the more they'll occur for you. Even better, write them down in a journal as a way to stimulate more synchronicity in your life.

You deserve a great life!

What the cards revealed for me.

Two days ago, I posted an article about Archetypes - the symbolic entities within us that connect to the subconscious and often drive certain behaviours 'with or without our permission'.

Yesterday, I posted another one, offering 5 free Archetype Readings to interested readers willing to see their life situations through 'a new set of eyes'.

I've had archetypal references cross my path since I was in the 11th grade. At that time, our English teacher assigned people to research different means of 'reading' literature to get the most meaning from the text. I was assigned Carl Jung's Archetypal Theory where he links the collective unconscious to dreams and myths. I then had to write an essay on the book we were reading at the time (A Separate Peace by John Knowles) on the foundation of the archetypes presented within.

My love for 'seeing what isn't always immediately present' coupled with my love for reading destined me for an eventual University degree in English Literature. Finding patterns, tracing themes, giving words to meaning that was presented symbolically - I thrive on that.

On reflection - every aspect of my life has led me to this moment, right here, right now, where I've chosen to stop looking for what I need to do next at the buffet - and to instead synthesize my life experience to date in a unique, new way. Completely new to me, anyway.

In my full-time, professional career - I have never been awarded a job that existed before I go there. From the Coordinator of an Employee Assistance Department to the Communications Specialist (then Manager) of a major wholesale/retail company to the Local Marketing Manager of that same company ... I have created the role around the skills I had to offer and then left them for someone else to maintain and manage.

I have long suspected that whatever I'm poised to do next would be more of the same. While I've spent weeks sending out resumes in the field of corporate communications (something I do very well) and applying to posted positions in the fields of Writing, Editing, etc. ~ deep inside I've known all along that it's time to forge new ground yet again.

My fears are greater this time. I'm older, I've got more responsibility and accountability to others than I used to have ... and yet, it is what it is ~ I'm destined to do something I'm not already doing ... and it's time to get on with it.

This is my rather long preface to the Archetype Reading I just gave myself a little more than one hour ago. The inner whispers I've been ignoring because they didn't come in a way that would easily squeeze into my existing life just batted me in the head with a 2x4.

I am a Writer, I having the capacity to heal and soothe and inspire with my words and it's time to accept this and share what I have likely been put here to do.

The big picture is not yet clear - but, I've taken the first step. I've let my 'reading world' know that I do card readings. I am posting my own reading of myself for anyone interested in seeing what a reading looks like.

I am a Clairsentient ... I have a way of knowing things without knowing how I know ~ and it operates through my feelings. I have learned to trust and follow my inner promptings to say things to people or do things for people that appear 'right out of the blue' but are always received with, "How did you know?" or "That's exactly what I needed to hear right now."

I see the inner essence in people - the part of you that may lie dormant or neglected or even undetected ... and I live to connect to that aspect of others and to be the magnet that gently draws the wonder from you - safely and with compassion - until you practically blind yourself with your own inner wonder. Or, at the very least - start believing in your Self until your own confidence and esteem are ready to take you everywhere you're meant to go.

I am a Spiritual Sleuth, capable of weaving together your life experiences in a way that reveals patterns and themes and ultimately meaning and purpose.

And I am your friend. Someone so grateful for your presence in my life and the enrichment you bring to it.

Honour your inner TEACHER - that part of you that desires to communicate knowledge, experience, skill and wisdom.  It may manifest through parental guidance, business or the arts, or by inspired instruction in ethics or kindness.

Accept your inner PIONEER – she supports your passion for doing and creating what has not been done before and helps you discover and explore new territories whether external or internal.

Keep working with your inner CLOWN - she allows you to communicate profound messages with humour and to remove masks that may cover your true emotions to fearlessly reveal them – helping others to laugh or cry at the absurdities and hypocrisies of life.  This trait is capable of crossing boundaries of social acceptance, representing what others might like to say or do themselves.

Harness your inner DESTROYER – Release what is potentially destructive and limiting to you and begin preparing for your new life. Destroy and rebuild.

Collaborate with your inner ALCHEMIST and convert every day matter into some form of altered and enhanced expression as you seek complete spiritual transformation.

Do not fear your inner GUIDE – she supports your ability to see the Divine in every aspect of life as you sharpen your insight and your acceptance of what is.

Your Spirit's Whispers

Spirit's Whispers is the term I use to describe inner wisdom. We all have it - some of us are just more connected to it than others. Our thoughts and beliefs affect our present life circumstances and, ultimately, our health. These thoughts can be used to block our healing or desires - and they can also be used to support our healing and desires.

Sometimes, we are not consciously aware of what is going on within us.  Something 'feels' wrong or we keep hitting roadblocks or we're suddenly plagued with headaches or weighted feelings of lethargy and sadness. 

But inside, somewhere deep inside - the essence of who you are knows what ails you, knows what is needed to help you find your way back to action, balance, better health, meaning and purpose. 

And this knowing waits quietly for the moment you are able to put words to your discomfort, direction to your desires and healing to your pain.

I am a Clairsentient - a Healer of sorts -- through words, through intuition, the sharing of insights and perspectives - I help people to see their own lives or situations in a different way -- a way that may lead to break-through insights and healing of their own.
